A rapid clicking sound usually means the pump isn’t drawing water correctly. You can often fix this in a couple of minutes by priming the pump:
-
Fill the water tank and plug in the steamer. Switch it on.
-
Insert the tank, hold the steamer upright, and press the steam button.
-
While continuously pressing the steam button, remove the tank. Keep the button pressed.
-
Wait 10 seconds, still pressing the steam button.
-
Re-insert the tank and continue pressing the steam button. The clicking may speed up.
-
Keep the button pressed for ~30 seconds until the sound fades and steady steam returns.
