Here’s a short guide to help you solve the most common issues with your Cirrus 2 Handheld Steamer.
Leakage
If your steamer is leaking, try to find where the water is coming from:
-
From the water tank: Make sure the rubber stopper is properly attached and that the tank is fitted tightly to the steamer. There should be no visible gap between the tank and the device.
-
From the mouthpiece or elsewhere - this should not occur
Weird noise
Hearing a strange sound? That’s completely normal — it’s just the boiler heating the water inside the steamer.
No steam
If no steam comes out, try these steps:
-
Check the water tank:
-
Make sure it’s filled and correctly attached.
-
If there’s a gap between the tank and the steamer, that may cause the issue.
-
If possible, try using another water tank to test if the tank is the problem.
-
-
Check the power supply:
-
Ensure the plug is securely connected and the power outlet works properly.
-
-
Wait for it to heat up:
-
The steamer takes about 25 seconds to warm up.
-
The orange/red light turns green when it’s ready to use.
-
Don’t press the steam button before the green light appears.
-
Descaling
Cirrus 2 does not need descaling.
It has a special coating that prevents limescale buildup.
However, in areas with hard water, we recommend using distilled, deionized, filtered, or battery water to prevent mineral deposits and keep your steamer performing well.
