When Cirrus 3 makes this clicking sound (almost like a small helicopter), it is most likely because the pump cannot fetch water the way it’s supposed to. The problem is quickly dealt with in most cases, and it only takes a couple of minutes.
Please follow these steps:
- Fill your steamers’ water tank with water, connect it to a power outlet and switch it on.
- Insert the water tank into the steamer, keep it upright and press the steam button.
- Keep pressing the steam button continuously while you REMOVE the water tank, but please keep the steam button pressed.
- Let 10 seconds pass and keep the steam button pressed.
- Re-insert the water tank again and keep pressing the button. The sound may change now, still clicking, but faster.
- Keep the button pressed and wait for another 30 seconds.
When carried out, the sound/noise should go from clicking to even faster clicking, eventually fading, and then you should hear that the steamer starts to create consistent and regular steam again. You have now manually restarted your steamer.
