Here’s a quick guide to help you solve common issues with your Cirrus X Handheld Steamer.
Leakage
If your steamer is leaking, try to find where the water comes from:
From the tank: Make sure the small stopper/rubber plug is properly attached and that the tank is securely connected to the steamer.
From another part: If it’s spitting or leaking heavily through the nozzles
Weird noise
Hearing a strange sound? That’s normal — it’s simply the boile heating the water inside the steamer.
No steam
If no steam comes out, try the following:
Check the water tank: Ensure it’s filled and correctly attached.
Check the power supply: Confirm the plug is secure and the socket works.
Wait long enough: The steamer needs 20–25 seconds to heat up.
The red light turns white when it’s ready.
The light will switch between red and white during use — this is normal.
Do I need to descale my Cirrus X?
No — Cirrus X has built-in limescale traps that minimize buildup inside the steamer, so descaling isn’t necessary.
However, in areas with hard water, we recommend using destillerat, avjoniserat, filtrerat eller batterivatten (distilled, deionized, filtered, or battery water) to prevent mineral buildup and keep your steamer performing at its best.
