Leakage
If your steamer is leaking, try to locate the origin of the leakage. If the water is coming straight from the tank, ensure the little stopper/rubber plug has been properly attached. Also, please double-check so that the tank is correctly connected to the steamer. Is the leakage coming from somewhere else than the water tank? If it is leaking or spitting heavily through the nozzles, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our customer support for further assistance.
Weird noise
Is there sometimes a weird sound coming from your steamer? This is normal, and it's just the steamer working to heat the water inside the boiler.
No steam
If there's no steam coming out, there are a couple of things you can do for yourself to try to rule out what might be the problem. Start with the water tank. At first, you could check that the water tank contains enough water and fill up the water tank appropriately. Then you can try removing the water tank and then putting it back in place again. If the water tank's not attached correctly.
Is something wrong with the power supply?
Check the power plug connection and ensure that the socket functions the way it's supposed to. Did you wait long enough for the steamer to heat up?
It takes about 20-25 seconds for the steamer to heat up and the red light to go out and turn white. Do not push the steam button before you see the white light. The steamer will switch from white to red during usage, this is completely normal.
Do I need to descale my steamer?
Cirrus X is equipped with so called limescale traps that minimize the risk of limescale clogging the steamer. Therefore, it is no need to descale it. Although, please remember that we recommend using distilled, deionized, filtered, or battery water in regions with hard water to prevent these kinds of issues.
