If you have placed an order on our site that you, for some reason, wish to return? No worries, we accept returns up to 30 days from the date of purchase.
You will not find a shipping label for returns inside your parcel, and this is because we wish to save paper and the environment.
If you wish to return a product, you need to contact our Customer Support and let us know. Send an email marked "Return" to info@steamery.se and let us know your order number and reason for the return. Do not return a product without contacting us first.
We will send you a return shipping label by email, either UPS or DHL. Here are some examples of the shipping companies and return shipping costs:
Sweden: DHL, 49 SEK
Denmark: DHL, 55 DKK
Norway: UPS, 210 NKK
Finland: DHL, 7€
Germany: DHL, €7-10 depending on weight.
Europe: DHL, between €12-15
Switzerland: UPS, 25€
If you are based outside the EU, you will receive a commercial invoice for the customs; this needs to be signed by you. There is no further information required – we will prepare the papers. These should be available for the courier– do not enclose them inside the parcel.
Please note that we do not offer free returns. As soon as the order has returned to us and we have received it, we'll issue the refund and deduct the return shipping cost from the product value. The return cost is usually €7-15 depending on the weight and location as you can see above. So, this amount you will not be refunded.
Please note that it is essential to enclose your order number in the package before sending it back; we cannot refund you any money without it. *This is not required in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Austria, France, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Spain, or Germany, where the order number gets added to the return shipping label.
When you make a return, the product must be in its original package and still in the same new condition as when the item was received.
We do not want customers to send back products independently; we prefer to create the correct shipping labels to the valid address. Also, if we create the shipping label, we have all the right tools to track the shipment if something goes wrong. It's also a way for us to control any additional costs that might occur in customs. If you send the parcel by yourself, please be aware that you will have to cover all the expenses necessary for the order to be delivered to us successfully.
If you send a product back to us on your own initiative, it might end up at a different address or access point, and we will not be able to collect it. We do not issue refunds before we receive the products. To minimize the eventual outcome of delays and such, we always recommend contacting us before arranging a return on your own, and we will be happy to help you.
