Cirrus 3 Iron Steamer is a hybrid between a steamer and an iron, with a heated front plate that can create a pressed look, like level one on an ironing board. The front plate is always generating heat, and the steam jets out once you keep the steam button pressed.
Cirrus X Handheld Steamer is a regular handheld steamer – there is no heat in the front plate compared to Cirrus 3. Note that the front plate gets hot due to hot steam coming out of the steam holes, but there’s no built-in heat function. This model, however, has a higher steam output, weighs less, and is equipped with a translucent water tank.
Cirrus 3 can be stored in a standing position, whilst Cirrus X has a hanging loop at the end of the handle for easy storage.
You can use both steamers for the same type of garments and textiles as they are very gentle. Please note if you wish to steam something delicate, start by steaming with some distance to the fabric to see how it reacts. You can use both models continuously for about 30 minutes, then we recommend letting them cool down.
