No, we do not recommend descaling any of these models. Both Cirrus X Handheld Steamer and Cirrus 3 Iron steamer are equipped with so called limescale traps that minimize the risk of limescale clogging the steamers. Therefore, it is no need to descale neither of them. If you live in an area with hard water, we always recommend using filtered or distilled water to any of our steamers to prolong their lifetime.
